Video Editor Application

I am looking for a creative freelance video editor to help me continue growing my channel.

Location: Fully Remote

Compensation: Paid hourly or per project (to be decided based on project/skill level)

Job Type: Part Time

Videos/month: 1-2, but possibly more in the future

Skills Required

  • 2-4 years of experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop)

  • 2-4 years of experience making YouTube-style talking head videos (fast paced and highly engaging)

  • Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines

  • Be a highly efficient editor, without sacrificing quality

  • English is your first language

  • Be able to produce high quality, professional motion graphics and animations in After Effects

  • Must understand the Cole Hastings brand aesthetic/vision, and be able to replicate my editing style

  • Must have a portfolio for me to look over that proves you have the skills listed above

  • Must be willing to produce a small sample video using video clips/b-roll I provide you, so I know you can replicate my video editing style (this will be done after I get into contact with you)

Desirable, but not required

  • Experience with making short form content (IG reels, TikTok, YouTube shorts). I may want you to repurpose my YouTube videos into short form pieces as well.

  • You live in an American time zone
